Security Deposit Policy

PLEASE READ THE SECURITY DEPOSIT POLICY CAREFULLY
Car Cruiser requires a security deposit before you rent any of our vehicles. The deposit amount is collected in full before the start of the trip. For instant book trips, this will be collected when you complete checkout. For other vehicles, it will be charged when Car Cruiser approves the trip. If the deposit collection is unsuccessful, the rental will not be booked.
If a security deposit is required, you’ll be notified before you checkout.
SECURITY DEPOSIT AMOUNT MAY VARY BASED ON YOUR POLICY’S RENTAL INSURANCE DEDUCTIBLE. CAR CRUISER WILL NOTIFY YOU PRIOR TO PROCESSING THE SECURITY DEPOSIT OF SECURITY DEPOSIT VALUE CHANGE.
This deposit will be refunded 24 hours after the return of the vehicle in the condition that it was received. The security deposit will be refunded if the trip is canceled according to our cancelation policy. Depending on your bank and the means of payment, it may take up to seven business days after we release the deposit for the funds to be available in your account. If a claim is reported during or within the first 48 hours of your trip, or if an incidental charge fails or is disputed by you, the return of the deposit will be handled by a Car Cruiser representative and may take longer to process the refund.
